Sales Assistant - Health/Fitness
StretchLab Spartanburg is looking for a Sales Assistant to help with front desk and sales tasks at a health and fitness boutique studio located on the East side of Spartanburg. This part-time position offers a dynamic opportunity for a driven, sales-focused individual to actively contribute to expanding the membership base for a novel wellness modality, gain experience in business management, and/or build their professional resume.
The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm, high energy, and a proactive "let's do it" attitude. Problem-solving skills and a creative mindset are beneficial. And a passion for health and fitness is a plus.
This role is customer service and sales, so you must be good with people and enjoy selling!!

DUTIES:
- Assist with the sales process of lead generation, follow up, and some close
- Lots of phone calls / outreach
- Book / confirm stretch sessions for our current & prospective clients
- Greet and check-in clients and answer phone inquiries
- Meet individual sales goals assigned
- Occasional participation in special events (health fairs, community events, etc.)
- Help create and participate in social media content
- Present and sell merchandise
- Maintain studio cleanliness
- Love connecting with people and love sales
- Ability to create a positive welcoming environment
- Great phone etiquette & communication skills
- Talent for customer service
- Drive to understand and meet client needs
- Ability to exceed expectations
- Proficient computer / software skills
- Prior experience in a fitness/health environment helpful but not required
- Must be reliable and adhere to the attendance policy
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- This position offers an hourly base rate of $12 along with commission on sales and bonus opportunities based on performance
- Complimentary 4x25 Membership included with employment (with 15+ hrs/wk schedule)
